
Scandinavian and Baltic states will provide Moldova with all the necessary support in the EU accession negotiations process
This was stated during a meeting that Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean held in Chisinau with a delegation of the North-Baltic Eight, which includes Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden. The sides discussed support for Moldova's European integration process, the fields in which the cooperation between the countries can be boosted, as well as the fight against disinformation and propaganda. Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the support granted by the eight Nordic and Baltic countries to Moldova's efforts to modernize, strengthen security, economic growth and social development, in the context of the implemented reforms and progress in the EU accession process. He noted that a stable, democratic and prosperous Moldova will make a valuable contribution to the security and stability of the region and Europe as a whole. In this context, the North-Baltic Eight Foreign Ministers emphasized that their countries will provide all the necessary support to Moldova in the EU accession negotiations. The sides also spoke about the importance of supporting Ukraine, which is struggling to ensure peace in the region.
