
The Moldovan government has decided to introduce a state of emergency for a period of 60 days from February 24 and will ask the Parliament to approve it.
Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita announced this, noting that she would go to parliament today and ask for a 60-day state of emergency, taking into account the security situation in the region, in order to ensure security in our country. The head of government explained that the state of emergency will provide for a special regime for entering and leaving the country, a special regime for the use of airspace and measures to regulate migration flows and ensure measures for the reception of refugees from Ukraine. Natalia Gavrilita noted the importance of effective management of the flow of migrants and refugees on the border with Ukraine.
