As reported by the organizers in total, more than 9,000 visitors purchased a “taster's passport” – a ticket giving access to wine tasting. An analysis of visitor preferences, based on data collected from the “taster's passport,” shows a significant increase in interest in all categories of wine. At the same time, white wines were the most popular, accounting for 36.3% of the total number of tastings - 30,763 glasses, which is twice as much as in the previous year, when there were 18,794 white wine tastings. In second place are red wines, which accounted for 35.3% - 29,931 glasses tasted, which is almost twice as much as during the previous festival - 15,903 tastings. Sparkling wines close out the top three with a share of 15.6% and 13,199 tastings, which is significantly more than the 8,107 tastings in 2024. Next, rosé wines accounted for 9.1% of the total number of tastings—7,733 glasses (in 2024 – 5,938). Divins (cognacs) close the rating with 3.6% of the total number of tastings – 3,021 glasses, which is twice as much as last year (1,581). The results demonstrate an increase in visitor interest in all categories of wine and confirm the growing popularity of Moldovan wine among both connoisseurs and new wine lovers. National Wine Day 2025 strengthened the event's position as the largest platform for promoting Moldovan wine and winemaking traditions, once again demonstrating the wine sector's potential to attract visitors from all over the world, strengthening the recognition of the Wine of Moldova.
