Moldovan wines were widely represented in the Netherlands at the Het Wijn Festijn festival in The Hague and were well received by the local public
The National Office of Vine and Wine reported this, noting that after the successful presentation of Moldovan wines in Utrecht, they were widely represented at the 3-day Het Wijn Festijn festival, which took place from August 8 to 10 in the heart of The Hague, on the historic Lange Voorhout avenue. Almost 4,000 visitors discovered Moldovan wines in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The public preferred lighter and fresher wines. The favorites were Feteasca Albă, Feteasca Regală, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay, with Chardonnay with notes of vanilla and butter winning universal acclaim. Among the red wines, the most popular were Rara Neagră, Feteasca Neagră, and Pinot Noir, as well as blends with local varieties. It is noted that the Wine of Moldova stand was also visited by the CEO of IKEA Netherlands, who came specifically to learn about Moldovan wines and their history. // 12.08.2025 — InfoMarket
