This was announced by the Investment Agency, inviting, on behalf of the Government of Moldova, businessmen, investors, business associations, public and private partners to participate in this important economic forum of the country in order to discover the economic opportunities of Moldova. The event will bring together in Chisinau and other regions of the country representatives of business, institutional and academic environment from Moldova and abroad. Held under the motto "Moldova is open for business", this anniversary edition of Moldova Business Week underlines the country's continued openness to international economic cooperation. The Investment Agency noted that Moldova Business Week 2025 reflects Moldova's clear course towards a sustainable, digital and regionally integrated economy, strengthening its position as a promising destination for investment in Europe. The forum programme will include B2B sessions, thematic panels, presentations of investor and exporter success stories, off-site events and a special focus on networking. The event will focus on 4 strategic areas: the state support scheme for industrialisation; Moldova IT Park; investments in infrastructure and renewable energy; Moldova’s role in Ukraine’s recovery. In particular, the discussion will focus on a competitive instrument for attracting investments in 6 strategic industrial sectors, providing state support of up to 60% of the investment volume; Moldova IT Park as a successful model in the IT and business services sector with a unique 7% tax regime guaranteed by law until 2035; investments in infrastructure and renewable energy to strengthen energy independence, diversify supply sources, directly integrate with the EU and accelerate the transition to green energy. A separate discussion will focus on Moldova’s positioning as a logistics platform and a hub for regional cooperation in the context of Ukraine’s recovery process, with a focus on infrastructure projects, logistics and construction materials production. "Within the framework of this anniversary event, Moldova will demonstrate its readiness to play an active role in the regional economy. We have talented specialists, a favorable tax system and a clear vision for development," said Natalia Bejan, Director of the Investment Agency. According to her, the latest data confirms this. In particular, in 2024, 1.3% of cars produced in the world included components manufactured in Moldova. Our country is still among the top 20 world leaders in the production and export of apples, apricots, plums and wine. IT exports increased more than 5 times from 2018 to 2024. The British company William Russell named Moldova the most promising destination in Europe for real estate investment in 2025. International rating agencies Fitch and Moody's confirmed the country's ratings with a stable outlook, which reflects economic stability and investor confidence. "We invite you to join Moldova Business Week together with those who are turning Moldova into a center of innovation and opportunities.
