
Moldova: Investments in fixed capital in 2022 amounted to 31 billion 185.9 lei, down 11.6%, compared to 2021.
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that investments in long term intangible assets in January-December 2022 amounted to 829.9 million lei, up 7%, compared to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, investments in long-term tangible assets decreased by 12% - to 30 billion 356.1 million lei, amounting to 97.3% of the total. According to NBS, at the same time, investments in machinery and equipment in 2022 amounted to 9 billion 210.9 million lei, which is 4.6% less compared to 2021. Investments in construction of residential buildings in 2022 amounted to 3 billion 936.7 million lei (-13.3% to 2021). Investments in non-residential houses (buildings and constructions) in 2022 amounted to 4 billion 899.8 million lei (-13.7% to 2021). Investments in engineering structures amounted to 7 billion 108.8 million lei (-21.4%), investments in vehicles - 3 billion 341 million lei (-7.1%), and investments in other tangible assets - 1 billion 858.9 million lei (-9.2%).
