
Moldovan Parliament has ratified a grant agreement with the World Bank Group, providing for $43.76 million to the country to support the state budget.
Specifically, MPs at Thursday's plenary session voted in two readings to ratify the grant agreement for the Multi-donor Trust Fund to co-finance the "Emergency Response, Resilience and Competitiveness Development Policy Operation " which was signed on December 9, 2022 between Moldova, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association. The grant is to be paid to Moldova by one installment by May 31, 2023.
