
Moldovan President Maia Sandu and representatives of the Association of Foreign Investors discussed the problems of business development.
According to the press service of the head of state, in particular, during the dialogue, they discussed the energy crisis, drought affecting a number of production areas and food security, inflation and problems in the banking sector, as well as equal access to justice for business representatives. In this context, Maia Sandu noted that the authorities are looking for optimal solutions to help local producers withstand external challenges and stay on the market. The President of the Republic of Moldova appreciated the courage of foreign investors to stay in our country and work here, despite the difficulties. “We appreciate the fact that you continue your activities in Moldova, maintaining jobs and contributing to the state budget. We hope that the war will end as soon as possible and we will get rid of many of the problems caused by it. In the meantime, we are working on reforming justice and regulatory bodies. We know how important justice is for business development,” the head of state said.
