
Moldova: Net inflow of direct investments into the economy in the second quarter of 2021 amounted to $52.57 million against a net capital outflow of $24.47 million for the same period of 2020.
As follows from the data of the Balance of Payments for the first half of this year, published by the National Bank, in particular, the total inflow of direct investments into the national economy in the second quarter of 2021 amounted to $104.3 million, and capital outflow - $51.73 million, and for the same period last year, these figures were $36.71 million and $61.18 million, respectively. According to the NBM, the reinvested income in April-June 2021 amounted to $32.4 million, while the reinvested income of banks in this period amounted to $19.74 million, and in other sectors - $12.66 million. Net inflow of equity investments amounted to $5.19 million (total inflow - $5.34 million, total outflow - $0.15 million). In the section "Other Capital" (other sectors), the inflow of investments amounted to $66.56 million, and the outflow - $51.58 million. At the same time, in terms of claims to foreign investors, the inflow of investments amounted to $42.15 million, and the outflow - $21.33 million, and in terms of liabilities to foreign investors, these indicators amounted to $24.1 million and $30.25 million, respectively. // 26.10.2021 - InfoMarket
