An 8-year-old boy, holder of the maib junior card, found out that he is the first child from Moldova who will go to the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul and will go out on the field with a famous football player.
The little customer has the maib junior card for half a year, which he uses for shopping. During the "2023 UEFA Champions League" promotion organized by maib and Mastercard, he made payments with the card according to the promotions’ conditions, being chosen the winner in the draw. His name is Cristian, is from Balti, and he came to Chisinau with his family to watch a football match, as part of his holiday schedule. Surprise: the match was played by the maib and Mastercard football teams, the game was intense, and the noise of the fans in the stands created an atmosphere specific to international championships.
It was a big surprise when, at the end of the match, which ended with a score of 4:4, Cristian Grosu was invited on the field together with his family.
