According to the financial statement of the enterprise for 6 months of this year, Floarea Soarelui revenues from sales increased 6.8 times - from 693.86 million lei in January-June, 2021 up to 4 billion 745.7 million lei in January-June, 2022. The company processed 195.3 thousand tons of sunflower seeds (5 times more as compared to the same period of 2021), produced 87.1 thousand tons of vegetable oil (up 5.1 times) and 77.6 thousand tons of sunflower meal (up 5.1 times). Refined sunflower oil output was 23.700 tons (up 5.8 times). About 21.1 thousand tons of sunflower oil was bottled in PET bottles (up 4.1 times). Approximately 90% of the sunflower oil produced was exported while the remaining volumes were sold on the domestic market. Production capacity of the company allows processing 370 thousand tons of sunflower seeds per year. For the 2022 season, the task is to process 366 thousand tons of sunflower seeds. The authorized capital of Floarea Soarelui JSC is almost 14.9 million lei.
