The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported this, without providing data in value terms. According to the agency, at the same time in February 2022 the volume of industrial production decreased by 4.4% compared to the same month last year. Overall, in January-February 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, production in the extractive industry increased by 71.6%, and in the processing industry - by 5.1%. According to the NBS, enterprises of the food industry in 2M 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, increased production volumes by 31.2% overall. Beverage production increased by 26% and textile production decreased by 9.9%. Clothing output increased by 12.1%. Under the section: tanning and finishing of leather; production of suitcases, bags, saddlery; dressing and dyeing of fur production fell by 1.9%, and under the section: wood processing and production of wood and cork products, except furniture; production of products from straw and other plant materials for weaving the indicator increased by 28.7%. The production of paper and paper products increased by 26.8%, and the production of chemicals and chemical products increased by 15.5%. Production of pharmaceutical products and pharmaceuticals increased by 6% and production of rubber and plastic products - by 22.4%. In the metallurgical industry production grew by 9%. The output of metal structures and products, except for machinery, equipment and installations fell by 3.3%, and in the section: production of computers, electronic and optical products the index increased by 0.1%. Production of electrical equipment decreased by 39.2%, machinery and equipment - by 16.7% and automobiles, trailers and semi-trailers - by 48.6%. Production of furniture increased by 8%. In the section of repair, maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment the decline was 25.4%. Production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and hot water decreased by 2.2%.
