According to the National Commission for Financial Market, in January-June 2021, the net profit of non-bank credit institutions of Moldova amounted to 433.15 million lei, which is 65.5% more than in the same period of 2019 (263.33 million lei). The largest profit since the beginning of the year was received by Easy Credit - 98.84 million lei, Microinvest - 63.62 million lei and Iute Credit - 36.13 million lei (almost 47% of the total net profit of non-bank credit institutions in January-July 2021). At the same time, more than 26% of 164 non-bank credit institutions suffered losses. The biggest losses were incurred by Mega Credit - 14.8 million lei and Credits 2 All - 10.4 million lei. The total assets of non-bank credit institutions in Moldova at the end of June 2021 amounted to 11 billion 235.58 million lei, which is 7.6% more than at the end of June 2020 (10 billion 436.7 million lei). The largest assets are held by Microinvest - 2 billion 985 million lei. At the end of the first half of 2021, the equity capital of the operating non-bank credit institutions amounted to 4 billion 040.27 million lei, an increase of 11.8% compared to the same period in 2020 (3 billion 613.8 million lei). Easy Credit has the most significant amount of equity capital - 673.46 million lei, followed by Microinvest - 498.96 million lei, Iute Credit - 274.35 million lei, Prime Capital - 217.97 million lei, Express Leasing & Microcredit - 216.94 million lei. These 5 companies accounted for almost 47% of the equity capital of all non-bank credit institutions. Meanwhile, in January-June 2021, non-bank credit institutions received bank loans and borrowings, including financial leasing, in the amount of 6 billion 451.8 million lei, which is 8.3% more than in the first half of 2020 (5 billion 956.8 million lei).
