
Customs Service and Inspectorate for State Financial Control to strengthen cooperation to prevent, detect, and combat fraud
The parties signed a memorandum of cooperation that establishes an interagency framework for communication, interaction, and cooperation in the field of protecting the financial interests of the state, the European Union, and external development partners. The document aims to optimize the mechanism for preventing, detecting, and combating financial fraud, including by strengthening cooperation with the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF). The main areas of cooperation will focus on improving the effectiveness of the regulatory framework, the rapid exchange of information, and participation in joint control and investigation activities.
