The government has approved new rules for introducing aerosol dispensers with a capacity of up to 1000 ml to the market
The regulation approved by the Cabinet of Ministers sets clear requirements for flammability, internal pressure and labeling of aerosol dispensers used mainly in such areas as cosmetics, sanitary, pharmaceutical, automotive and technical industries. We are talking about dispensers with a capacity of 150 to 1000 ml, which are not currently subject to special accounting, and their compliance with safety requirements is not taken into account when introducing them to the market. The Ministry of Environmental Protection notes that the document clarifies and introduces standards for technical requirements for metal, glass or plastic containers in terms of maximum permissible capacity and filling conditions; improves the procedure for informing consumers - due to mandatory detailed labeling and the introduction of party identification marks. The labeling must include the name, address or trademark of the person responsible for importing the product; the "ε" symbol confirming compliance with the requirements of this resolution; code designations allowing identification of the production batch; information on the flammability of the product; net volume of the container. The new regulation will help prevent risks and establish requirements for testing products before placing them on the market. In addition, the role of the Environmental Protection Inspectorate will be strengthened - it will be given the authority to check and monitor compliance with the provisions of the regulation, including with regard to the technical documentation of aerosol generators. // 21.05.2025 — InfoMarket
