
The Parliament of Moldova will hold its first plenary session of the autumn session of 2024 on Friday, September 13
This decision was made by the Standing Bureau of the Parliament, which approved the agenda of this session. The deputies must vote on a number of measures to support farmers in connection with this year's drought. The Parliament will also ratify an amendment to the Financing Agreement with the International Development Association regarding support for higher education. The agenda of the plenary session also includes a draft amendment to the Education Code with the aim of integrating art education into the general education system. The deputies will also consider a draft amendment to the Parliament resolution on the creation of a special commission to determine measures to overcome the crisis in the agricultural sector, a draft resolution on declaring the mandate of a member of parliament vacant, and a draft on the import of vehicles.
