Green Card insurance certificate will be issued in digital format

The government has approved draft amendments to the regulatory framework to create conditions for issuing the “Green Card” certificate in black and white with subsequent digitalization. In particular, from November 1, the primary form of a special regime document on paper will be canceled and the possibility of issuing the certificate in electronic form will be provided. A single point of access to data related to CMTPL insurance for all professional participants of the insurance market will be the portal rca.bnm.md. It is envisaged that the National Bank of Moldova, the National Financial Market Commission and the National Bureau of Motor Insurers will develop the necessary mechanisms and solutions for digitization and issuance of the “Green Card” insurance certificate in electronic form. // 12.09.2024 – InfoMarket
