
Moldova will introduce new tax incentives and economic incentives for agrarians for the sustainable development of agri-industrial complex.
This was stated during the 2nd meeting of the Economic Council, created by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. The Council consists of 37 farmers specializing in grain cultivation, representing all regions of the country. The forum is necessary to discuss and promote strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the national agricultural sector. The meeting was opened by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Vladimir Bolea, followed by a discussion on the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), and the Ministry of Economic Development to develop new financing instruments for farmers that could offer this sector significant economic advantages. The meeting also touched on the topic of adjusting VAT for agriculture. The discussions emphasized the need to adopt new legislative provisions that would contribute to the sustainable development of the Moldovan agriculture through tax incentives and economic stimulus measures.
