Moldova increases the number of checkpoints for petroleum products import by road.

The Emergency Situations Commission decided to allow the import of petroleum products by road through checkpoints on the Moldovan-Romanian border Giurgiulesti-Galati, Cahul-Oancea and Sculeni-Sculeni. For the import of petroleum products originating from EU countries, the sampling by the inspection body is not required in case of presentation of the declaration of conformity and certificate of inspection issued by a laboratory accredited in the European Union. Besides, the term of validity of the authorization for pollutant emissions from stationary sources issued to Moldovan Metallurgical Plant has been extended until August 31 by a decision of the Emergency Situations Commission. During the state of emergency, import, export/re-export and transit operations for arms and civilian ammunition are suspended. // 29.06.2022 – InfoMarket
