Moldova and Germany will continue to cooperate in the field of training and advanced training of business managers in our country.

Moldova and Germany will continue to cooperate in the field of training and advanced training of business managers in our country.

This will be envisaged by a joint declaration of intent between the Ministry of Economy of Moldova and the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the signing of which was approved by the Government of the Republic of Moldova. This document was developed with the aim of further implementation of the bilateral Business Manager Training Program in Moldova. The purpose of signing a joint declaration of intent is to facilitate foreign trade, attract foreign investment to Moldova, as well as create new jobs. The joint statement of intent will enter into force from the date of signing and will be applied until the end of 2023. According to the Ministry of Economy, the bilateral Business Manager Training Program in Moldova is part of the Global Executive Training Program of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany called "Fit for Partnership with Germany "(Willingness to partner with Germany). The bilateral training program for business managers in Moldova was officially launched on November 19, 2008. Currently, it is proposed to sign a new Joint Statement of Intent between the relevant ministries of the Republic of Moldova and Germany. The program is intended for top and middle managers of Moldovan enterprises from all areas of the national economy with export potential and qualified personnel. Participants in the program must represent companies that wish to establish or already have contacts with their business partners in Germany. The program will help Moldovan managers establish cooperative relationships with German companies and form the basis for long-term partnerships. This will be ensured, on the one hand, by providing contact details of potential business partners, and on the other hand, through trainings, which contributes to the improvement of management skills. At the same time, the Program ensures that Moldovan managers acquire the necessary skills to carry out reforms at their enterprises in order to increase the competitiveness of companies and turn them into stable partners able to cooperate with German economic agents. According to the Ministry of Economy, the bilateral training program for business managers in Moldova is a tool for promoting foreign trade, which contributes to the activation of Moldovan-German economic relations. Since the start of the program in 2009 and until December 2020, 346 managers have participated in it. According to the results obtained, more than 60% of participants establish and develop various trade and economic relations with German partners, depending on the expressed interest and the project of economic cooperation. It should be noted that in connection with the declaration of a state of emergency at the international level in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, the program was suspended from March 2020 and then resumed online in May 2020. Thus, the program was practically transferred to a virtual mode: the internship takes place online, lasting 8 weeks - 3-4 days a week, while maintaining the previous organizational aspects. After the restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic are lifted, the previous practice, which provides for the physical presence of managers during an internship in Germany, will be returned. According to the joint statement of intent, the costs associated with the implementation of the Program in Germany will be borne by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany. // // 13.10.2021 — InfoMarket
