The main events will be organized downtown Chisinau. According to the government, the celebration will begin at 8:30 am with the laying of flowers at the "Grieving Mother" memorial and the Stefan cel Mare monument. The opening ceremony of the Sovereign Moldova holiday will begin at 10:00, followed by congratulatory speeches by President Maia Sandu, Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita. Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Polish President Andrzej Duda, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps, development partners, government agencies, etc. will take part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Moldova's independence.
