This was announced by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, noting that these goals and objectives are contained in the Program for the Implementation of the Digital Transformation Strategy of Moldova for 2023-2030 in 2025-2027, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. In addition, 2 regional digital innovation hubs will be created, built by the European model. Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor noted that by the end of 2027, it is planned to increase the share of ICT services exports to 14% compared to 10% two years ago. "We intend to annually mobilize 2.7 billion lei in investments in the IT sector, and 85% of public services will be available to entrepreneurs online. In addition, 45% of citizens will have an active digital identity, 200 new IT companies will be created annually, and a digital identity wallet will be launched in accordance with EU standards. The Implementation Program for 2025-2027 of the Digital Transformation Strategy of Moldova, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, sets out the actions necessary to achieve the strategic goals in the field of digitalization. The program is aimed at such important measures as the development of digital infrastructure, expanding access to the Internet, increasing the use of electronic government services and strengthening digital identity. It also provides for actions to promote electronic signatures and develop digital skills of the population. At the same time, the document includes initiatives to digitalize education and the healthcare sector, strengthen institutional capacity, as well as support the information and communication technology (ICT) sector and innovative start-ups. The implementation of this program is part of the Digital Transformation Strategy of Moldova for 2023-2030, which defines the directions of Moldova's digital development.
