In the field of research and innovation, participants could discover the latest innovations and research, such as robotics, VR or EdTech, presented by the Technical University of Moldova and Clasa Viitorului, with the support of the Future Technologies Activity (FTA). It is worth mentioning that today in Moldova about 60% of public services are provided in digital format, and the government aims to reach the level of 100% in the coming years. In recent years, Moldova has developed significantly in terms of interaction and communication with citizens, and digitalization of services has played a significant role in this. MCabinet, MDelivery, MPass, MConnect are just some of the 100% digitized public services that Moldovan citizens use. Since recently they can obtain a police clearance certificate in one of 22 EU languages (Bulgarian, Czech, Croatian, Danish, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Maltese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, Spanish). This is one of the most demanded services, also available in digital format. There is also the possibility of apostilization and home delivery of documents in Moldova and abroad through MDelivery service. On the first day of the summit, EVO - an integrated application of public services for citizens - was launched. It can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and Google Play and now offers 3 digital documents, several hundreds of services and sets of information about the citizen and one’s business. At the summit, it was possible to test the services offered through the EVO mobile app, such as personal data, digital documents, payments, government services, and credentials and authorizations. In addition, thematic workshops were held, where several international experts presented their experience, and participants and guests of the event were able to learn about cybersecurity news, opportunities for cooperation and investment, as well as the latest trends in digitalization.
