Moldova Digital Summit 2024 will be held from June 6 to 8 under the slogan “Creating a 100% digital future.”

The largest event dedicated to the digitalization of Moldova will be held this year at the Chisinau Arena and will bring together representatives of the IT community, government agencies, public organizations and everyone who is interested in digital transformation and promoting the digital economy. Representatives of the IT industry from Estonia, Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Great Britain, Sweden and other countries will attend the event. On the summit platform, experts from the EU, USA and South-Eastern Europe will present to the public key strategies for the development of a digital society in 4 components: digitalization of public services, digital transformation of business and the economy, development of a secure digital infrastructure and training of a workforce with skills adapted to current market needs. The summit will feature more than 25 panel discussions and workshops focused on overcoming the challenges and seizing the opportunities of G2B and B2B collaboration. During the summit, participants will be able to discover an exhibition area of approximately 1000 square meters, where government agencies, companies, startups and academia, as well as other organizations will present their innovations, services and digital solutions. As part of the summit, IT parks from Moldova and the UAE will sign a memorandum of understanding, and Tekwill Expo Day will also be organized, where technologies used in the educational process will be presented, as well as the most innovative projects and engineering programs created by youth. “With approximately 60% of public services available digitally, an active and growing IT community, the first IT park in Europe with a flat tax of 7%, and a unique tax model in Europe that supports the reinvestment of profits and business growth, we are ideally positioned to become the region's next digital hub. We have set ourselves the goal of becoming a 100% digital state, integrated into the European and global digital economy, and the Moldova Digital Summit is the ideal place to discuss trends and exchange ideas,” said Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba. The event was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization together with the National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC), the Electronic Governance Agency, Moldova IT Park, Investment Agency, Technovator, Startup Moldova and the Technical University of Moldova. Strategic and financial support is provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Future Technologies Project (FTA), funded by USAID, Sweden and the UK, the World Bank, the UN Development Program in Moldova, Western NIS Entreprise Fund, an OPTIM project supported by Switzerland and the Helvetas organization.
