The significant reduction of expenses by 280 million lei and the growth of the subscriber base in all service segments emphasize the success of the measures taken. The implementation of eSIM and the plans for the development of telecommunications infrastructure testify to the company's orientation towards innovations and improvement of service quality. The launch of other innovative services is planned in the nearest future. Moldtelecom has developed and implemented a strategy for the development and modernization of telecommunications infrastructure, including mobile telephony and fiber optic networks. This strategic investment plan is key for the long-term preservation of competitiveness, strengthening of technological leadership and provision of quality services. It should be noted that since January 2, 2024, the national telecommunications operator is managed by a new interim general director, Viorel Motorniuc, who was appointed to this position after the resignation of the former general director Alexandru Ciubuc.
