The CCI of Moldova invites entrepreneurs to explore opportunities for developing bilateral trade with India and take part in a business mission to this country
This week, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a meeting dedicated to promoting economic cooperation between Moldova and India. During the information session, Diana Moraru, founder of the IndoMold Connect platform, who has been working in India for over 17 years, spoke about export opportunities to the Indian market, trade features and consumer preferences. She also gave recommendations to entrepreneurs who want to establish partnerships with companies in India. According to her, Moldova can become a reliable partner for India, a market with accelerated urbanization, a growing middle class and an increasingly pronounced focus on high-quality and environmentally friendly products. Potential export categories include: agri-food products (wines, honey, dried fruits), textiles and clothing, as well as environmentally friendly products. Indian companies are interested in strategic cooperation with Moldovan partners, especially in the field of information technology, pharmaceutical industry and agricultural infrastructure - sectors in which India has experience and investment potential. The CCI notes the intensification of cooperation at the level of Moldovan and Indian organizations to support business. Thus, the Chamber organized several business missions to India and took part in various international exhibitions. The next economic mission for companies in the agri-food and fisheries sector will be held in the city of Chennai from June 30 to July 3 (https://goo.su/xjRpJY9). The CCI is also organizing a trip for a delegation from Moldova to the international specialized exhibition ALUMEX India 2025, which will be held from September 11 to 13 in New Delhi.
