As InfoMarket was informed by the National Bureau of Statistics, at the same time, the export of domestic goods for 4 months in 2023 amounted to $942.6 million (67.9% of the total), decreasing by 18.2% compared to the same period of the previous year. Herewith, the re-export of foreign goods in January-April 2023 amounted to $446.4 million (32.1% of the total), which is 45.7% more than in the same period in 2022. Meanwhile, the re-export of goods after processing (clothing, shoes, shoe parts, chairs, electrical wiring and cables, other products for the automotive industry, shelled nuts, chairs and other furniture, suitcases, textile products, toys, etc.) amounted to 12.6% of total exports, and the classical re-export of foreign goods (gasoline, diesel fuel, vehicles, nuts, medicines, sunflower oil, sunflower seeds, cigarettes, wine distillates, whiskey, gin, vodka, liqueurs, beer, fabrics, knitwear, essential oils, perfumes and cosmetics, travel and sports bags, backpacks, wrist and other watches, corn) - 19.5%. According to the NBS, for the export of goods abroad in the specified period, road transport was most often used - 79.9% of the total, followed by sea transport - 15%, railway - 2.9%, air - 1.2%, fixed transport installations - 1%. In general, Moldovan exports to the EU countries in January-April 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, decreased by 11.3% - to $861.6 million, to the CIS countries - increased by 1.9 times - to $346 .5 million, and to other countries - decreased by 41.5% - to $ 180.8 million. The share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan exports over the specified period decreased from 66.58% to 62.03%, the share of CIS countries increased from 12.24% to 24.95%, while the share of non-EU and CIS countries decreased from 21.19% to 13.02%. According to the NBS, the main destination countries for Moldovan exports in the reporting period were: Romania (32.9% of total Moldovan exports), Ukraine (16.7%), Italy (6.1%), Germany (5.4%) , Russia (4.1%), Turkey (4%), Czech Republic (3.7%), Poland (2.6%), Belarus (2.4%), Spain (2.1%), Cyprus (1.6%), USA, Lebanon, France, Bulgaria (1.3% each), Hungary (1.2%), Kazakhstan (1.1%), Switzerland and the UK (1% each), Greece and the Netherlands (0.9% each), Lithuania (0.6%), UAE (0.5%). However, in the first 4 months of 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, Moldova increased exports to Ukraine (by 2.9 times), to the Czech Republic (by 1.6 times), to Spain (by 2.2 times), to Kazakhstan (by 4.9 times), to Cyprus (2.4 times), to Belarus (+53.4%), to UAE (5.7 times), to Lebanon (+40.1%), to the USA (+32.2%), to Lithuania (by 2.2 times), to Kyrgyzstan (by 8.5 times), to Georgia (+48.7%), to Morocco (by 16 times), to France (+8.4%), to Armenia (by 5.5 times), to Slovakia (+24.6%). At the same time, during this period, Moldova reduced exports to Turkey (-62.5%), Italy (-41.3%), Bulgaria (-71.8%), Switzerland (-66.6%), Russia (-19.9%), Portugal (-97.6%), Netherlands (-52.6%), UK (-48.6%), Germany (-15.4%), Poland (-15.5%), Greece (-24.8%), Austria (-40%), Romania (-0.5%), Iraq (-59.1%), Belgium (-27.6%), Jordan (-94%), Egypt (-36.4%), Tunisia (-96.7%), South Korea (-88.8%), Hungary (-5.6%).
