About 200 farmers from central Moldova took part in the AgroFin Moldova 2025 agricultural financing fair held on May 30 in Chisinau

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry reported this, noting that AgroFin Moldova 2025 is the first fair dedicated to financial solutions in agriculture. The event brought together financial institutions, commercial banks, development partners, and relevant authorities in a format focused on presenting instruments available for investment in the agri-food sector. State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Alexandra Sian emphasized at the beginning of the event that AgroFin was created in response to farmers' requests expressed in questionnaires collected by the Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center in 2024. "Access to finance is a key issue for any agricultural entrepreneur. The aim of this event is to help farmers identify the right tool for their investment needs," said Alexandra Sian, calling on participants to interact with the institutions present. Director of the Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center Carolina Chiper noted that AgroFin is organized as an informational and practical introductory event. “We want every farmer to return home with an offer. Personalized information for each case is available in the exhibition area,” she said, also announcing the launch of the center's website, which will provide access to agricultural news, consultant contacts, and opportunities to request thematic training. The AgroFin Moldova 2025 fair in Chisinau is part of a series of regional events. The first session took place in Balti on May 15, and the next session will be held on June 6 in the Cahul District Council. // 30.05.2025 — InfoMarket
