The Moldovan Agriculture Ministry is in favor of extending cooperation with the Romanian Commodity Exchange and creating an economic instrument to facilitate the interconnection of farmers from the two countries
Moldovan Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Vladimir Bolea announced this, noting that he spoke about this during a meeting with Romanian Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism Stefan-Radu Oprea during his working visit to Bucharest. “We discussed partnership and relations in the economic segment between agricultural producers from Moldova and Romania, because Romania is an important partner for us. One of the central topics was the cooperation with the Romanian Commodity Exchange and the possibility of its expansion in Moldova. I have been analyzing for a long time the creation of an economic instrument that would facilitate the interconnection of farmers from the two countries, and the Romanian Commodity Exchange in Moldova could be an important step in this direction. We should have a profitable agricultural business at home, thanks to which producers could reinvest in development, so that we could make our country prosperous,” the head of the Moldovan Agriculture Ministry emphasized. // 02.09.2024 - InfoMarket.
