Economic Development and Digitalization Minister Dumitru Alaiba announced this, noting that the exports amounted to 1 billion 446 million lei, or more than $81 million. At the same time, he said that 61% of the exports of Moldovan plums, cherries, cherries, apricots and peaches went to the EU countries. The main markets for our fruits among EU countries are Romania (16%), Poland (12%), Germany (10%), Latvia (4%) and the Netherlands (3%). "This growth is not just an economic indicator, but also the result of the work of our farmers. We will support them by diversifying our export markets. Our team has secured an extension of trade liberalization with the EU, signed a free trade agreement with EFTA (European Free Trade Association), and is moving forward with the renewal of the free trade agreement with Turkey. We are working hard to support all sectors of our economy in order to provide quality products and services that we can be proud of both at home and abroad!" wrote Dumitru Alaiba wrote on his social media page.
