
IFAD offers grants to Moldovan farmers to buy agricultural machinery and implement measures to adapt production systems to climate change.
According to the report of the IFAD Consolidated Programme Implementation Unit (CPIU IFAD), in particular, for registered enterprises/individuals the size of the grant is 70% of the cost of investments/agricultural equipment, but not more than $7.5 thousand per beneficiary; for cooperatives: 50% of the cost of investment/agricultural equipment, but not more than $15 thousand per applicant. Eligible for this grant financing are enterprises registered in any organizational-legal form or registered private farmers (peasant farms or individual enterprises), residents of Moldova, engaged in entrepreneurial activity for at least 1 year in rural areas and owning and/or renting up to 50 ha of land. They can benefit from IFAD grant support mechanisms to support the Europeanization, sustainability and prosperity of their business. // 03.01.2024 – InfoMarket
