AIPA is now accepting applications for phased subsidization of investment payments.

AIPA is now accepting applications for phased subsidization of investment payments.

The Agricultural Interventions and Payments Agency (AIPA) is opening the first call for applications for phased subsidies for investment payments, which will last until 14 December. This form of subsidizing investment payments is a phased provision of a subsidy based on an investment project or expansion of an investment project that has received a positive assessment from AIPA. Subsidies are provided after the implementation of each stage based on the costs fully borne by the applicant. The size of the subsidy provided to one applicant will be up to 15 million lei, and for groups of agricultural producers or entrepreneurial cooperatives - up to 25 million lei. The project will be implemented within the financial resources of the National Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development, annually approved by the state budget law. Applications for phased investment subsidies can be submitted by a farmer (an individual or legal entity or a group of individuals or legal entities, regardless of the legal status of the group and its members, whose farm is located in Moldova and is engaged in agricultural activities), in accordance with the three approved areas of support. The first is investment in the production, processing or marketing of products from the plant sector (production in protected areas; creation or modernization of perennial plantations; development of infrastructure for production, primary/finished processing or marketing; installations for the production of energy from renewable sources). The second is investment in the production, processing or marketing of wine sector products (planting vineyards or modernizing the vineyard support system; developing infrastructure for production, primary/finished processing or marketing; installations for the production of energy from renewable sources). Third - investments in the production, processing or marketing of livestock products (development of livestock farms and acquisition of breeding animals; development of infrastructure for production, primary/finished processing or marketing; facilities for the production of energy from renewable sources). The subsidy applicant must meet a number of requirements. More detailed information is available on the website https://www.aipa.gov.md. // 02.11.2023 — InfoMarket
