The subsidizing of the first 33 applications for financing direct payments for livestock has been approved at 13.7 million lei.
The Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) reported that the receipt of applications has been completed. In total, 497 requests were submitted to subsidize the purchase and maintenance of 221 heads of cattle, 163 sheep and 113 goats. Let us remind that subsidies for livestock are issued under three measures of support. The first measure, "Cattle", stipulates subsidies for the purchase of cows of specialized breeds for dairy and mixed production - 7000 lei; cows of specialized breeds for meat production - 7000 lei; bulls over 12 months - 5000 lei. The second measure, "Sheep": subsidy for purchase of specialized breeds for dairy and mixed production - 500 lei; specialized breeds for meat production - 500 lei; sheep over 12 months of age - 300 lei. The third measure, "Goats": for the purchase of goats less than 12 months old - 500 lei; those over 12 months old - 300 lei.
