AIPA is opening applications for livestock subsidies.
Applications can be submitted between April 4 and June 10, as the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture reported. According to the Livestock Direct Payments Regulations, there are three measures of support available. In particular, owners of cattle registered in the State Register of Animals, can receive direct payments of 5 thousand to 7 thousand lei per head of cows and owners of sheep and goats - from 300 to 500 lei per head. For purebred animals exploited on breeding livestock farms of breed, for which breeding livestock farms have been certified and which are subject to zootechnical registration, the amount of direct payment is increased by 50%. It should be reminded that Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita announced earlier that the Agriculture Subsidy Fund in 2022 will increase to 1.75 billion lei, compared with 1.1 billion lei in 2021 and 1.5 billion lei initially budgeted for this year. The total amount of subsidies for farmers will be increased within the framework of the correction of the Law on the State Budget for 2022, which will take place in the next few weeks. // 01.04.2022 - InfoMarket
