Moldovan authorities are canceling all events dedicated to the celebration of the National Wine Day.

According to the National Office for Vine and Wine, the events were canceled due to the worsening epidemiological situation in the country. The corresponding order was signed by the Minister of Agriculture Viorel Gherciu. Let us remind that the jubilee XXth National Wine Day was planned to be organized on the first weekend of October. It is worth noting that on September 2, the central public authorities received an order from Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, requesting the cancellation of all previously planned public events and the prevention of the organization of mass meetings, celebrations and other activities with the physical presence of a large number of people. According to the Ministry of Health, over the past week, 132 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Moldova per 100 thousand inhabitants, which is almost 42% more than in the previous week.
