Moldova has made significant progress in its own resources, increasing transparency and ensuring proper revenue collection - the Ministry of Finance

As the Ministry noted, Moldova's access to European funding is closely linked to its commitment to make fair and transparent contributions to the EU budget through the mechanism of contributions based on its own resources. In this regard, the Ministry of Finance emphasizes that Moldova has made significant progress in its own resources, aimed at increasing transparency and ensuring proper revenue collection, including by establishing a Coordinating Committee responsible for institutionalizing processes related to own resources. Future efforts will focus on the functioning of this committee, modernizing the IT infrastructure associated with the own resources system, and ensuring compliance of national legislation and practices with EU legislation for each type of own resources.
