
German low-cost carrier Eurowings has entered the Moldovan market for the first time and started operating Chisinau-Cologne flights from May 1.
As the administration of Chisinau airport reported, flights on this route will be carried out 2 times a week: on Wednesdays and Saturdays. And from May 18, Eurowings will also launch regular direct flights Chisinau-Stuttgart, which will be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The flights will be served by Airbus A 319 airplanes. "Thanks to this long-awaited launch of Eurowings flights, our passengers will be able to travel inexpensively to Cologne and Stuttgart, directly, without connections," the capital's airport said.
