
Europe's largest airline concern, the German group Lufthansa, will start operating direct flights Chisinau-Frankfurt from April 29.
The Chisinau airport administration announced this, noting that Lufthansa owns the second largest air fleet in the world. The Chisinau-Frankfurt flights will be operated by Airbus 319 airplanes in two classes of service: business and economy. At the same time, from April 29 to May 23, there will be 4 Chisinau-Frankfurt flights, and from May 25 - 5 flights. Passengers will have expanded flight options, being able to create convenient connections to a multitude of destinations covering the whole world. Lufthansa is also one of the five founding members of the Star Alliance, the world's largest aviation alliance formed in 1997.
