This follows from data from the National Commission for the Financial Market. The purchase and sale transaction was registered on May 27 outside the regulated market and the multilateral trading system (MTS). In particular, 1,683,977 shares of Viorica Cosmetic (15.63%) with a nominal value of 1 lei per share were sold at a price of 11.01 lei per share for a total amount of 18 million 540 thousand 586.77 lei. Information about who sold and who bought these shares of the company is not disclosed. At the end of 2023, Viorica Cosmetic had 16 shareholders, the largest of which were: Pielart - 46.31%, Solar International - 31.71% and DAAC Hermes Grup - 18.43%. All these companies are part of the DAAC Hermes group. As previously reported, Viorica Cosmetic completed 2023 with a profit of 124.8 thousand lei against a loss of 18.01 million lei a year earlier. The company's annual financial statements state that in 2023, sales revenues of Viorica Cosmetic increased from 96.9 million to 135.5 million lei (+40%), and cost of sales - from 44.6 million to 57.7 million lei (+29.4%). The authorized capital of Viorica Cosmetic JSC at the end of 2023 amounted to 118.5 million lei, unchanged compared to 2022. Viorica Cosmetic is the largest manufacturer of perfume and cosmetic products in Moldova. The perfume and cosmetics company Viorica was created in 1980 according to the model of the French factory Christian Dior, and in 1989 it launched new production. In 2012, it was privatized by the DAAC Hermes Group holding. The new investor updated the company's product lines, purchased new equipment made in Germany and Spain, expanded the research department and refurbished the plant's laboratories. In 2016, the company began to develop its own eco-plantation VioPark, where dozens of plant species are grown according to the principles of organic farming, which are then used as raw materials for the production of Viorica cosmetics.
