The NCFM registered the results of the 4th issue of maib corporate bonds for 89.14 million lei within the framework of its second program.

As reported by the National Commission for the Financial Market, in particular, the results of the 4th issue of corporate bonds under the second maib Offer Program were recorded in the Register of Securities Issuers. During this issue, 4,457 registered bonds of class V were signed with a total value of 89 million 140 thousand lei, the nominal value of 1 bond is 20 thousand lei. The maturity of the bonds is 3 years, the coupon interest rate is floating and is 4.01% in the first year + a fixed margin of 0.5%, paid monthly. As previously reported, the second maib corporate bond public offer program was launched on December 4, 2023. As part of this program, the issuer will, on an ongoing basis for 12 months, carry out a cyclical placement of corporate bonds of 6 different classes in 10 consecutive bond issues with a subscription level of at least 1% for each issue. In total, maib plans to raise 1 billion lei through 10 issues of bonds of different classes worth 100 million lei each. In September 2023, maib successfully completed the first bond issuance program, thanks to which it managed to attract 258.24 million lei to the capital market. MAIB notes that investing in corporate bonds provides excellent opportunities to manage savings and achieve significant medium- and long-term benefits, including: investments represent an additional source of income; the interest rate is calculated monthly for 3 years and is more attractive compared to other savings instruments due to competitive margins; corporate bonds can be traded on the Stock Exchange of Moldova; in certain situations they can be used as collateral; investors can withdraw the invested amount by visiting any maib branch.// 22.05.2024 — InfoMarket
