From December 22 to December 31, an auction for the sale of state shares of the third round of privatization this year is being held at the Stock Exchange.

Blocks of shares in 14 joint-stock companies are put up for sale at the Stock Exchange Market, the state's share in which ranges from 30.083% to 99.637%. The total starting price of the state-owned shares offered for sale through exchange auctions is 1.3 billion lei. Thus, the state block of shares of the state in JSC Metalferos (78.282%) is put up for sale for the third time in 2020. The price of one share has been reduced from 3230 to 3200 lei per share, thus, the value of the block decreased by 8.4 million lei (-1.9%) - from 907.8 million to 899.4 million lei. The state block of shares in the Rif-Acvaaparat Institute for Scientific Research in Balti (92.908%) was again put up for privatization: the cost of one share was reduced from 57.28 to 52 lei, and the initial cost of the object - from 20.44 million to 18.55 million lei (-9.2%). Also, the sale price of JSC Alimentarmaș, which is in the process of insolvency, was reduced from 6.07 million to 5.49 million lei (the state's share is 30.083%). For the first time this year, was put up for privatization the state-owned block (60.179%) of shares in the Hotel Chișinău. The initial selling price is 5.34 lei per share (1.55 million lei). In 2018, this state property was offered for sale, the value of the share was even less - 3.09 lei (0.87 million lei for the state stake). Also, state shares in 10 enterprises for the repair and maintenance of roads are put up for sale, the blocks of shares are sold at a price of 27.6 million to 54.63 million lei. The total initial cost of these objects has also slightly decreased compared to the previous price and amounts to more than 385 million lei.
