
Vinăria Purcari completed the deal in which it sold its 31.4% minority stake in the Glass Container Company to the Swiss company Vetropack. The deal was valued at EUR 7.2 million.

As InfoMarket agency previously reported, Vetropack is a leading Swiss player in the European glass container market with production facilities in Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Ukraine and Italy, with revenues of 714.9 million Swiss francs in 2019. Purcari Group - Purcari Wineries Plc is one of the main producers of wines and brandies (cognacs) in Central and Eastern Europe. The group manages about 1400 hectares of vineyards and 4 production sites in Romania and Moldova: Purcari, Crama Ceptura, Bostavan and Bardar.
