
The Ministry of Health has updated the list of "red" zone countries, including 62 states.
The list of countries with increased risks of coronavirus spread includes South Africa, Andorra, Argentina, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Cyprus, Cuba, Denmark, UAE, France, Georgia, Greece, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Ireland, Malta, Great Britain, Mongolia, Portugal, Russia, Spain, USA, Thailand, Tunisia, etc. In these states, the number of people infected with coronavirus exceeds 100 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants. According to the established rules, persons who arrive from the countries of the "red" zone (directly or in transit), upon entering Moldova, must fill out an epidemiological card, and then undergo 14-day self-isolation. One can stop the self-isolation mode after 7 days, after passing the PCR test for coronavirus and subject to a negative result. It is worth noting that persons who have a certificate of full vaccination against coronavirus are exempted from the self-isolation regime, while at least 14 days must elapse from the moment the vaccination is completed. Children under 6 years old and children from 6 to 18 years old are also exempted from self-isolation if they have a negative PCR test for COVID-19, conducted no more than 72 hours before boarding (in case of movement by public transport) or no more than 72 hours before entering the territory of Moldova (in case of movement by personal transport); persons who have confirmed presence of antibodies to COVID-19 (confirmation is valid for 90 days from the date of the analysis).
