More than 18.4 thousand people started receiving increased pensions in 2021 after a request to revise old-age pensions.

According to the National Social Insurance Agency (CNAS), the pension was established for these people after January 1, 1999, but they worked for another 7 to 10 years after they became entitled to an old-age pension. The average pension after the revision is 5325 lei, compared to 2833 lei before the revision. New pension rights are granted starting from the month following the month in which the application and the necessary documents were submitted to the territorial social insurance office. The increase in the pension after the revision depends on the length of the insurance period and the amount of the insured income. CNAS draws attention to the fact that an application for the revision of a pension can be submitted online through the official website www.cnas.md in the section “e-Application for Revision of Pension” or through the government portal of public services www.servicii.gov.md. // 29.03.2021 - InfoMarket.
