According to the Ministry of Health, over the past day, 381 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed, thus, the total number of people currently being treated for the virus has reached 9108. About 35% of them are hospitalized in medical facilities, the rest carry the virus in a mild form and are treated at home under the supervision of doctors. At the same time, 282 patients are in critical condition, 55 of them are connected to ventilators. It is reported that over the past day, 11 more people died from complications caused by the coronavirus, and the total number of deaths reached 3651. Since the beginning of March 2020, 170 186 cases of infection with the new type of coronavirus have been officially registered in Moldova, almost 93% have been successfully treated (+591 for the last 24 hours). About 42% of all cases of coronavirus were registered in Chisinau. It should be noted that 1,067 patients are treated in the capital's medical institutions with a maximum capacity of 1163 beds.
