Moldova will elaborate an automated information system “Price Register” for real estate.
According to the government decision, the creation of the system will allow the collection of market data on transactions, which in turn will be used to develop, calibrate and monitor over time the quality of real estate valuation models for tax purposes. In addition, the development of a Register of State Control over Real Estate Valuation Activities was approved, which will allow government agencies to receive detailed information on the activities of certified appraisers, in particular: the volume of work performed, the type of objects being assessed, the number of appraisal companies. The Cabinet of Ministers also approved the Regulations on the procedure for appeals and consideration of complaints regarding the assessment of real estate for tax purposes, which will provide the cadastral authorities and the central administrative body with the regulatory framework necessary for the effective management of applications and complaints regarding the assessed value of real estate. // 08.07.2024 – InfoMarket.
