In Moldova, the Land Cadastre will be maintained in an automated information system and will be accessible to everyone.
This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, noting that for better organization, updating, accessibility and transparency of data on land plots, the Land Cadastre will be maintained in an automated information system. The concept of this system was discussed at the Coordination Council at the Ministry of Agriculture. Currently, the Land Cadastre is maintained by local authorities on paper and contains a set of data and documents on the legal status of land, its distribution among landowners, quantitative and qualitative parameters, as well as its economic value. The cadastre is approved annually by government decision, but this system has proven to be ineffective. For this reason, the new Land Code stipulates that the Land Cadastre will be maintained at the local level by local government authorities using an information system that will contain quantitative and qualitative data on land in the country. This information will be available to both central and local authorities, as well as to interested institutions and citizens. // 08.04.2024 — InfoMarket
