Local authorities are encouraged to implement provisions for assessing or updating the inventory value of real estate for tax purposes.
Monitorul Oficial published changes to the government decree on the assessment or revaluation of the value of real estate for tax purposes. The document provides for the introduction of a new provision regulating a temporary mechanism of a recommendatory nature, which establishes the procedure for assessing or updating for tax purposes the inventory value of real estate of individuals who are not registered as entrepreneurs. For this purpose, specialized commissions for inventory of real estate will be created within the city halls. The provision applies to real estate located in communities that have not been subject to a mass appraisal based on assessed value for tax purposes. Inventory commissions must identify property, the inventory value of which is subject to assessment or updating, calculate the value of real estate for tax purposes, and transfer the results to the service for collecting local taxes and fees. // 22.03.2024 — InfoMarket.
