
Electricity prices for Moldova’s final consumers decreased by 3% in Q2 2024 from Q1
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) reported that this was the result of a decrease in regulated prices for electricity supply by universal and guaranteeing service providers in March. According to the energy regulator, Premier Energy's share in the structure of electricity suppliers amounted to 73.86%, Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord - 25.74%, Navitas Energy - 0.26%, ML Energy Group - 0.14%. According to ANRE data, final electricity consumption in Q2 2024 decreased by 15%, compared to Q1 2023, reaching a minimum value of 309 GWh in May. At the same time, an increase of 3% was registered, compared to Q2 last year.
