National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) approved the Regulations on imposing state obligations on natural gas suppliers

According to the document, the selection of suppliers will be based on pre-established eligibility criteria determined by a special commission. The process of selecting suppliers includes several stages, including the establishment of the commission, publication of announcements on the agency's official website, as well as the verification and evaluation of submitted applications. Strict requirements are also set for gas suppliers, including a valid gas supply license, at least 3 years of experience in the market, gas supply contracts and other necessary documents. All information and documentation must be provided in Romanian. The terms of fulfillment will be up to 3 years. The final approval of suppliers will be made by ANRE's Board of Directors. It is noted that these measures are aimed at improving the reliability and quality of gas services for Moldovan residents and entrepreneurs. The decision will take effect after its publication in Monitorul Oficial (the Official Journal of Moldova). // 23.08.2024 - InfoMarket.
